Theodore Nikolaou is a photographer and journalist, born in 1982 in Chalkis, Greece.
He works in the field of social reporting, with a focus on contemporary social conditions and human experience.

His long-term projects explore mental health, migration, economic and ecological crises, pandemics, vulnerable social groups, and processes of social transformation. He conducts field investigations and assignments internationally.

His work has been published in Greece and abroad, and exhibited in solo and group exhibitions worldwide.

He holds a Master’s degree in Photography and Visual Language and a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences. He has specialized in Documentary Photography and teaches Documentary Photography and Visual Storytelling.

His book Aimos – Wanderings in the Balkans was published in 2019 by Agra Publications.
